I'm working on bringing up a workshop in San Francisco.
I've started a PBC and leased a building in SOMA. It's an empty shell at the moment, but I'm working on filling it up with tools and machines.
PBC entity purpose:
To develop physical robotics infrastructure enabling safe, supervised research into AI-controlled automation, with the goal of ensuring that the reduction of human labor through AI proceeds in a manner that is safe, beneficial, and aligned with human values.
Working name is "Citrinitas Workshop".
The explicit goal is to give Claude a space to play with robots (i.e. industrial machinery), and to provide a physical base of operations for whatever other odds and ends might be useful for my tribe in the near future.
I also would like to make it a fun spot to gather and to host things now and again.
